Long mail, but might be interesting for some out there.
Need a free test link for your ircd where you can sign up automatically?
Then continue reading this message.
- We have a support site for the network at http://chat.tornevall.se

I'm testing (playing like a kid) a free service for an auto-linking-ircd
service. I also guess that I'm stupid announcing that here, there's a risk
this service will get abused. But I will give it a chance. :)
If you have a network you want to test or link up to without problems with
application forms etc and then a long handling time by slow admins you can
test this service for free. I've been testing the service by signing up
myself with a bahamut 1.4.x-server to an 1.8.x-server and then linking it up
to a hub-server connected to the main network and that worked fine. There's
services setup on the main network and we're using bahamut (so you can't
link an unreal server for example).
This is only a test, so if bad things are happening to this network - like
abuse? - the server will be closed but I give you out there a chance to test
if this service really works. :)
Feel free to test with your bahamut-servers at
http://netlink-18.tornevall.net
You need some basic skills with configuring an ircd but the C/N/etc-lines
gets published to you when your account activates. Also notice that you must
have a valid e-mail-address to succeed with the signup. If you like the
service and wants a REAL uplink to the network, contact me. Further
questions, suggestions or critics can also be mailed to me. ;)
The irc-server that runs this service will be refreshed every minute so the
signup and activation should be very fast if everything was correctly
configured.
You can find me at irc.tornevall.net as TMM-TT
Regards
Tomas
